Catamount Web Solutions is pleased to announce an education opportunity for those in the Champlain Valley area. On Thursday, November 6 I will be conducting a "Build a Blog" workshop. The class is being offered through the Essex Junction Recreation and Parks Department. The class will be held from 6-8pm at the Essex High School Library Computer Lab. There is a small fee for the class ($10 Essex Village residents / $15 non-residents). All registration fees go to the Recreation Department. DESCRIPTION: Blogs have re-shaped the internet, changed the way we acquire news, impacted politics, and allowed people to stay connected in new ways. Why not have your own piece of the action? In this class we will discuss the history of blogs, learn how they work, and create a space on the internet for you to share ideas, keep a journal, stay connected with friends, or voice your opinion. When we finish you will have your own public or private blog that you can share with your friends and family or the world!
